ABSTRACT: Climate change, as well as the implication of humans in this regard, are now considered as undeniable. Therefore, world leaders committed to achieving pledges at the Paris COP 21, to target net zero CO2 emissions in 2050. To comply with this collective decision, a global rethinking of our energy production and consumption systems will be needed, to switch from carbonized fossil fuel energies to low carbon technologies. According to the International Energy Agency, renewable energies will have to be massively developed within the next ten years if we want to achieve the net-zero CO2 target by 2050. Energy is not made of wind or sun itself, but from a transformer that converts wind or sun energy into electricity. These convertors must be built, and are composed mainly of metals such as silver, platinum, and palladium. We view this as a great investment opportunity.
